Additional attachment for CXA/CX or CM micro balances is a simple device designed to perform procedure of the calibration and /or check piston pipettes by gravimetric method. The device was designed to minimize evaporation during the weighing of the liquid. It consists basically of a special vessel placed inside the weighing chamber of CXA/CX (CM21P) balances,equipped with "evaporation curtain" and special pan which ensure central placement of the measuring vessel.
Use of this equipment for checking pipette allows to minimize the risks connected with evaporation. Low volume of measuring vessel in conjunction with the "evaporation curtain" allows to increase the relative humidity inside the chamber which slowing down the process of liquid evaporation during time of weighing. The contents of the package:
- base element;
- special pan;
- measuring vessel of ~ 20 ml volume;
- the dish of "evaporation curtain"
- glass cover with a dosing hole.
The range of measured volumes - 1 ÷ 10 000 ml
